Designation: Technical Associate - ETP

Office Location: Dahej

Position description: Smooth operation of ETP (Primary, Secondary & Tertiary treatment) & STP, maintain parameters as per standards provided by Pollution control board and applicable legal requirements. Comply the Company EHS Policies & Goals in the interest of prevention of irreversible environmental impacts.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Smooth Operation of ETP & STP & statutory compliance.
- Operation and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) & STP consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary treatment facilities
- • Monitor the waste streams for existing and new products, conduct treatability studies with best available technologies.
- • Perform Trouble shooting of various problems as and when those arise.
- • Monitor inventory to various chemicals being consumed in the plant.
- • Arrange vehicles for manifestation
- • Extending support during ETP audits
- • Maintain form 3 & 4
- • Storm Water Gutter Monitoring
- • Supervising during pilot trials
- • Taking follow ups from service department
- • Charge Handover and Takeover during changeover of shifts
- • Shift performance evaluation of pollution control equipment
- • Maintain good Housekeeping in the plant.
- • Report any near miss /incident or any non-compliance
- • To participate in Root Cause Analysis of Various safety and process safety incidents,



Monitor and ensure implementation of CAPA (Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions)
- • To Support Various Process safety and Responsible Care Initiatives
- • Responsible to complete any other assignment given by seniors
- • Collect the necessary information from site departments to file statutory returns/ statements.
- • Monitor collection, storage on site, Transportation and disposal by incineration/land filing of hazardous waste streams at approved CHW-TSDF facilities
- • Give inputs for planning of EHS Budget.
- • Coordinate and help the team for conducting audits, Inspection and risk assessment studies such as HAZOP, work place risk assessments.
- • Coordinating with environmental monitoring for air, water, soil and waste. Analysis and documentation of the reports to ensure legal EHS compliance.

Educational qualifications preferred

- Category: Master's Degree
- Field specialization: Health Safety and Environment
- Degree: Bachelor of Science - B.Sc

Required work experience

- Years of experience: 2 to 4 years
- ETP treatment technologies and operations & maintenance.
