Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Elastic Path Developer with strong expertise in headless commerce, Java-based eCommerce platforms, API-driven architecture, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and integrating Elastic Path solutions to deliver scalable and high-performance digital commerce experiences

- Design and develop eCommerce solutions using the Elastic Path platform.
- Build and customize commerce services, APIs, and integrations.
- Collaborate with business teams, architects, UX designers, and product owners.
- Participate in technical design discussions and solution architecture.
- Develop scalable headless commerce applications and integrations.
- Support deployment, performance optimization, and production releases.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices.

Must-Have Skills Platform & Technical Skills
- 4 to 10 years of software development experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Elastic Path Commerce Cloud (EPCC) or Elastic Path Commerce.
- Strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices.
- Experience with Headless Commerce Architecture.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, API-first development, and API integrations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Elastic Path Commerce Cloud solutions.
- Configure catalogs, products, pricing, promotions, shopping carts, and checkout workflows.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for third-party integrations.
- Build custom commerce services and microservices.
- Integrate Elastic Path with ERP, CRM, Payment, Tax, and OMS systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure solution scalability, security, and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and agile ceremonies.
- Create technical documentation and deployment guides.

Preferred Skills
- Elastic Path Commerce Cloud (EPCC) certification.
- Experience with Composable Commerce ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments.
- Experience with GraphQL APIs.
- Exposure to MACH Architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless).
- Knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Good to Have
- Experience in B2B and B2C Commerce implementations.
- Experience with Search platforms such as Elasticsearch or Algolia.
- Exposure to Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, CommerceTools, or SAP Commerce.
- Understanding of security standards and PCI compliance.
