Job Profile:

- Technical design expertise: Lead technical design processes to ensure product accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with standards.
- Techpack management: Prepare, review, and maintain detailed Techpacks with specifications, construction details, and measurement charts.
- BOM sheet handling: Develop and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) sheets to ensure correct trims, fabrics, and accessories are sourced and applied.
- CAD proficiency: Use CAD tools for pattern development, grading, and design visualization.
- Pattern development: Create, check, and refine garment patterns to meet design and production requirements.
- Benchmarking specifications: Establish and maintain benchmark specifications for product quality and consistency.
- Product safety compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to product safety rules and regulatory standards.
- Trims knowledge: Oversee trims including labels, wash care instructions, hangtags, and other accessories for accuracy and compliance.
- Physical testing: Conduct and review physical testing of fabrics and garments to validate durability, performance, and safety.
- Size and grading:



Apply knowledge of sizing systems and grading rules to ensure proper fit across product ranges.
- Fabric knowledge: Possess working knowledge of fabrics, their properties, and suitability for different product categories.
- Pre-production meetings: Organize and lead pre-production meetings to align design, production, and QA teams on requirements.
- PPS evaluation: Conduct Pre-Production Sample (PPS) evaluations to verify measurements, construction, and compliance before bulk production.
- Product risk assessment: Identify potential risks in design, materials, or production processes and propose mitigation strategies.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and QA teams to align technical specifications with production feasibility.
- Documentation & SOPs: Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and records for design and production reference.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve technical design processes, efficiency, and product quality.
