- Operate the fusing machine safely as per standard operating procedures.
- Check fabric and interlining before starting the fusing process.
- Ensure correct temperature, pressure, and fusing time as per the approved standard.
- Maintain proper alignment of fabric and interlining.
- Check fused panels for peeling, bubbles, wrinkles, shrinkage, marks, and improper bonding.
- Separate defective fused components and inform the supervisor.
- Maintain the required production target and output.
- Avoid fabric and interlining wastage during the process.
- Carry out basic cleaning of the fusing machine and work area.
- Inform the Maintenance Team about machine breakdowns or abnormalities.
- Follow approved samples, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping at the workstation.
- Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Maintain fusing-related production and quality records when required.
- Coordinate with Cutting, Quality, and Sewing departments for smooth production.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
