V Sankar Aiyar & Co. is looking to strengthen its teams and invites applications from qualified Chartered Accountants for the following positions: 2 Positions – Statutory Audit

n

The role involves statutory audits of companies across diverse sectors, with exposure to financial reporting, accounting and auditing matters.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Statutory audits of companies
n
- Application of Accounting Standards / Ind AS, Schedule III and Standards on Auditing
n
- Review and analysis of financial statements
n
- Identification and evaluation of accounting and audit issues
n
- Preparation and review of audit documentation and deliverables
n
- Interaction with client finance teams and senior management
n

n

Nature of work: Primarily field-based, involving travel across Delhi NCR and, where required, other locations across India .

n

We are open to applications from freshly qualified CAs as well as candidates with relevant post-qualification experience .

2 Positions – Direct Tax | Compliance & Advisory n

The role involves a mix of income-tax compliance, advisory, tax audits and assessment-related matters.

n





Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Preparation and review of income-tax computations and returns
n
- Assistance in tax audit assignments
n
- Support in scrutiny assessments and appellate proceedings
n
- Research on provisions of the Income-tax Act and recent judicial pronouncements
n
- Analysis of financial statements from a direct-tax perspective
n
- Providing advisory support on direct-tax matters
n

n

Nature of work: Primarily office-based / desk-oriented , with exposure to diverse direct-tax assignments.

n

We are looking for:

n

n
- Freshly qualified CAs with relevant tax exposure during articleship; or
n
- CAs with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in direct-tax compliance and advisory
n

n
