RiseUpp.com is looking for a creative, hands-on Video Production Specialist to build engaging video content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and other digital platforms.

This is not just a video editing role.

We are looking for someone who can independently record, produce and edit videos and help us build a strong video presence around online education, growth opportunities and upskilling.

What You’ll Do• Plan, shoot and edit videos for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and other social media platforms

- Produce engaging content around online degrees, MBA programmes, professional certifications, upskilling and career growth
- Set up and operate camera, lighting, microphones and other basic production equipment
- Record founders, counsellors, subject experts, employees and other presenters
- Edit professional long-form YouTube videos
- Convert long-form content into YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and other short-form videos
- Create strong hooks, cuts and storytelling that keep viewers engaged
- Add subtitles,



motion graphics, animations, transitions, music, sound effects and branding
- Perform basic colour correction, colour grading and audio enhancement
- Create videos explaining RiseUpp's platform, features and learner journey
- Produce programme comparison videos, educational content, career guidance videos, interviews and testimonials
- Create promotional videos for universities, online programmes and certification courses available through RiseUpp
- Work with our content and marketing teams on video concepts and scripts
- Repurpose existing footage into multiple pieces of social media content
- Maintain organised footage, project files and a reusable video-content library
- Stay updated with current YouTube, Instagram Reels and short-form content trends

What We’re Looking For• Around 1–4 years of relevant experience in video production, videography and/or video editing

- Strong hands-on video editing skills
- Ability to independently shoot and edit qualified-quality videos
- Good understanding of camera framing, lighting, microphones and audio
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing and visual composition
- Experience creating content specifically for YouTube and social media




- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
- Knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics, Photoshop or similar creative tools is an advantage
- Understanding of thumbnails and basic graphic design will be an advantage
- Familiarity with AI-powered video and content creation tools will be a plus
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple videos and meet publishing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to experiment with new video formats

Experience in EdTech, education, career, business or knowledge-based content would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
