Role Description The Video Editor internship at The Otieno Media is an on-site role based in Pune Division. Interns will work with the creative and marketing teams to edit video content for social media, websites, and campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and high production value. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, audio, motion graphics, and color adjustments, and preparing final outputs optimized for different platforms.

Interns will assist in basic video production activities, organize media assets,



and support brainstorming for content concepts and storyboards. This role provides hands-on experience in digital marketing environments, with opportunities to learn from experienced editors and designers.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for marketing and social content.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Proficiency with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic familiarity with After Effects or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of social media and digital platforms, including video formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for engagement.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate on-site with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant coursework, portfolio, or prior project experience in video editing, media, or design is highly beneficial.
