Role Description

We are looking for a Video Editor Intern to join the Scribblers India team.

The intern will work with our content and marketing team to edit videos shared by clients for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social media channels.

The role will involve turning raw footage into clean, professional, and engaging videos that match the client’s brand and the requirements of each platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit raw client footage into polished social media videos.
- Create short-form videos, reels, talking-head videos, interview clips, and branded content.
- Add subtitles, captions, transitions, music, graphics, and other visual elements where required.
- Repurpose longer videos into shorter clips for different social media platforms.




- Resize and format videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other channels.
- Follow client brand guidelines while editing videos.
- Work closely with the content team to understand the purpose, script, and key message of each video.
- Improve pacing, visual flow, and overall presentation of the videos.
- Make changes based on internal and client feedback.
- Keep track of current video editing and social media trends and suggest new ideas where relevant.

Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of video editing and visual storytelling.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software .
- Ability to create clean and engaging short-form social media videos.
- Good understanding of pacing, framing, subtitles, music, and transitions.
- Basic knowledge of colour correction and audio cleanup will be helpful.
- Good understanding of different social media video formats and dimensions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand feedback and make revisions accordingly.
- Willingness to learn new editing styles and experiment with different content formats.

Candidates should share a portfolio, showreel, or samples of videos they have edited along with their application. The candidate should be based in India .
