Video Editor — Remote Internship

About the Internship

1. HESICS is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern who enjoys turning raw footage into engaging content.
2. This is a remote internship, so you’ll work with our creative, marketing, and technology teams online.
3. You’ll get the opportunity to work on real client projects, HESICS content, marketing campaigns, and product-related videos.
4. The goal isn’t just to make videos look good — it’s to create videos that hold attention, communicate clearly, and deliver results.

What You’ll Work On
1. Edit approximately 15–20 videos per month, depending on project requirements.
2. Turn raw footage into short-form and social-media-ready videos.
3. Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, educational content, and marketing videos.
4. Add cuts, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, zooms, and other elements wherever they improve the content.
5. Use motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects to make important information stand out.
6. Perform basic color correction and grading to maintain a clean and consistent visual style.
7. Improve the pacing and storytelling of videos so viewers stay engaged.
8. Sync and clean audio, add suitable background music, and improve the overall sound experience.
9. Work from creative briefs and feedback and make revisions when required.
10. Organize project files, footage, audio, graphics, and final exports properly.

What We’re Looking For
1. Valuable practical knowledge of video editing and social-media content creation.
2. Comfortable working with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software.
3. Basic understanding of motion graphics and text animation.
4. Valuable eye for timing, composition, transitions, pacing, and storytelling.
5. Basic knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and sound design.
6. Someone who understands that a good social-media video needs a strong hook,



fast pacing, and a clear story.
7. Ability to take feedback positively and improve your work with each project.
8. Good communication and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
9. Ability to manage deadlines and consistently deliver assigned videos.
10. Portfolio or previous editing work is highly preferred.

Monthly Expectations
1. 15–20 videos per month based on the project pipeline.
2. Maintain consistent editing quality across all videos.
3. Deliver videos within the agreed timelines.
4. Be available for communication, feedback, and revisions.
5. Take ownership of assigned videos from raw footage → editing → revisions → final delivery.
