Role Description The Video Editor will be responsible for creating, editing, and enhancing video content that supports academic programs, promotional campaigns, and internal communications. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, adding effects and transitions, synchronizing audio, and performing basic color grading to ensure visual consistency. The role also involves collaborating with faculty and the marketing team to understand content requirements, designing motion graphics and titles, and optimizing videos for various platforms.

This is a full time, on-site position based in Coimbatore,



requiring regular coordination with teaching staff and administration to deliver engaging and informative video materials.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage and assembling coherent narratives.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and professional visual quality.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with Graphics to enhance educational and promotional content.
- Experience with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar tools).
- Solid understanding of audio editing, file formats, resolutions, and video compression for online distribution.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, marketing staff, and other team members.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field; prior experience in educational or training-focused content is an advantage.
