We are looking for an in-house Video Editor to create thoughtful, engaging and visually distinctive video content for Brightlife.

You’ll work closely with the Brand Strategist and Content Team to translate ideas, scripts, footage and creative direction into compelling video across Brightlife’s content, courses, products and brand.

Short-form videos for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms

Reels and educational content

Expert-led and founder-led videos

Course videos and learning content

Long-form YouTube content

Campaign and product videos

Testimonials and parent stories

Video content for the Brightlife app

Video adaptations across platforms and formats

Motion graphics, text animation and visual storytelling

Colour correction, sound design and audio cleanup

AI-generated video, image, audio and creative production where relevant

We are looking for someone who

Has excellent visual taste and a high level of intent behind their edits

Understands storytelling, pacing, rhythm and retention

Can make educational content engaging without making it gimmicky

Knows how to create clarity through editing

Has a strong understanding of framing, composition, typography and visual hierarchy

Can translate creative direction into a finished video

Has a good sense of music, sound and timing

Is detail oriented and cares about the finishing touches

Can maintain Brightlife’s visual language across video

Is comfortable taking feedback, collaborating and refining work

Can work independently once the direction is clear

Is curious about recent technology and actively explores how AI can improve creative output

Is willing to experiment with new formats,

Tools

Strong proficiency in

Adobe Premiere Pro · After Effects · Photoshop · Illustrator · DaVinci Resolve

Experience with Adobe Audition, Lightroom, CapCut and other relevant video and motion tools is a plus.

You should also have hands-on experience with AI creative tools for areas such as video generation, image generation, animation, voice, audio, editing and creative exploration.

Experience with tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ElevenLabs or similar platforms is a plus.
