Architect - Child Centric Spatial Design

Odisha | Hybrid | Full-Time | Freshers–1 Year | ₹25K–₹30K/month

At Playroom, we’re looking for Architects who want to design beyond buildings, to create environments that influence a child’s foundational years. You’ll work on real Anganwadis, Shishu Vatikas and schools, taking spaces from site measurements and first sketches to design, execution and final transformation.

This is an opportunity to start your architectural career by building spaces that are real, purposeful and experienced by children every day.

What You’ll Own :

n

n
- Plan and design unique, functional, child-centric learning spaces.
n
- Conduct site visits, measurements and assessments.
n
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts and execution details.
n
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and design teams for smooth execution.
n
- Oversee on-site execution, solve practical challenges and ensure the design is delivered as intended.
n

Who We’re Looking For :

n

B.Arch graduates who are newly graduated or have up to 1 year of professional experience .

n

More than experience, we value someone who is:

n

n
- Passionate about designing meaningful spaces for children.
n
- A strong interest in education, with a problem-solving mindset
n
- Creative, observant and strong at spatial thinking.
n
- Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions.
n




- A robust communicator and collaborator. Able to coordinate and demonstrate leadership onsite.
n
- Comfortable communicating in English, Hindi and Odia.
n
- Excited to work both at the design desk and on real project sites.
n

Must-Have Skills :

n

AutoCAD | SketchUp | Revit | 3D rendering Software - Lumion / Enscape | Space Planning | Site Measurement | Architectural Drawings | Communication | Collaboration

n

n

Added Advantage :

n

Rhino and Grasshopper, Photoshop, BOQ preparation or knowledge of materials and construction.

n

n

Compensation & Benefits :

n

₹25,000 – ₹30,000/month
