About the Role

We are looking for a Veterinary Accountant with strong hands-on experience in US Accounting to support accounting and financial operations for veterinary practices. The ideal candidate should have experience with General Ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage accounting activities for US veterinary practices.
- Maintain General Ledger records.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Process AP and monitor AR.
- Reconcile practice revenue and client payments.
- Support veterinary service and product revenue accounting.
- Track inventory and medical/veterinary supplies.
- Prepare P&L; and Balance Sheet reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close.
- Assist with cash flow and expense analysis.




- Support audits and financial reporting.
- Identify accounting process improvements.

Key Software QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Veterinary Practice Management Systems.

Accounting & Compliance Knowledge

US GAAP, Veterinary Practice Accounting, Healthcare Accounting, General Ledger, AP, AR, Revenue Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, Credit Card Reconciliation, Month-End Close, P&L;, Balance Sheet and Financial Reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related field.
- CA/CPA/CMA/ACCA preferred.
- 2-6 years of relevant experience.
- Solid US Accounting and US GAAP knowledge.
- Veterinary/Healthcare Accounting experience preferred.
- Strong GL, AP, AR and reconciliation experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working from office in Sector 90, Noida.
