About Creator Engine

Creator Engine builds post-production pipelines for creators and studios operating at scale, across YouTube long-form, social platforms, and scripted vertical fiction. This role sits inside our Fiction vertical, where mobile-first drama finished in 9:16 gets rebuilt into a 16:9 master for delivery beyond mobile.

About the Role

Every fiction project we finish in 9:16 eventually needs a 16:9 version too, and that's not a resize. It's a shot-by-shot call: what stays in frame when a phone-shaped rectangle becomes a wide one, which shots have nothing to show at the edges, and when that gap needs to go to VFX before it becomes a delivery problem. You'll take a locked vertical timeline and rebuild it as a widescreen version.

Who We're Looking For

This role tends to suit a few specific backgrounds more than a generic post-production resume:

- Film school graduates who've spent real time thinking about frame and composition, what a shot is doing and why, before they ever touched an NLE professionally
- Assistant Editors who've worked on the fiction side and have sat close enough to picture editorial to understand what a scene is trying to do, not just how to organize its footage
- Editors who already carry a strong, developed point of view on framing for cinema,



people who can tell you why a shot is composed the way it is, not just that it is

What You'll Own

- End-to-end conversion of locked 9:16 timelines into 16:9 masters, shot by shot
- Reframing decisions on every shot: what enters frame, what needs repositioning, and what needs VFX help
- Direct coordination with Post Supervisor on VFX needs.
- Pulling graded color exports into your timeline and rebuilding the online around them
- Final quality checks and fixes on every shot before delivery, catching drift, mismatched specs, or anything that breaks continuity between versions

What You Bring

- Experience working across timelines in more than one aspect ratio, ideally including 9:16 to 16:9 or a similar conversion
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Comfort working alongside VFX and color teams, understanding what each can and can't fix
- An eye for continuity and shot-level detail held across long timelines
