- Job Title: Quality Manager
- Location: Mumbai - Andheri West, Opp. Infinity Mall, New Link Road

Candidate Requirements:

- Must have experience in handling International Quality Checking (QC) for export shipments.
- Hands-on experience in container management and container loading supervision (minimum exposure of 25-30 containers).
- Candidates must have experience in the Import Export industry with exposure to Food / FMCG finished goods.
- Candidates with experience only in laboratory testing or raw material quality control will NOT BE considered.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Robust experience in Advance Excel Formulas(VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Table, CONCAT, Data Cleaning, Basic Formulas Etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and inspection skills.
- Knowledge of packaging standards and shipment processes.
- Experience with ERP systems and documentation control.
- Ability to analyze discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
- Strong coordination skills with suppliers and internal teams.
- Leadership and team management ability.

Supplier Quality Coordination:

- Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality issues, quantity discrepancies, and packaging compliance.
- Oversee collection and verification of sample images, pre-shipment inspection records, and quality reports.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to approved packaging, labeling, and shipment standards as per export requirements.
- Verify accuracy of quantities between planned stuffing and actual loaded quantities during container stuffing.




- Reconcile balance goods between company records and supplier dispatch records.
- Initiate and follow up on corrective actions with suppliers to resolve quality and compliance issues.

Container Loading & Shipment Verification:

- Monitor daily container stuffing activities through ERP reports.
- Verify that container-wise item lists match the shipment plan.
- Ensure proper packaging standards and labeling requirements are followed.
- Review photographic evidence for quantity, packaging, and loading accuracy.
- Ensure that any leftover goods are properly tracked and reconciled with supplier records.

Deviation Management & Reporting:

- Identify deviations in - Quantity / Weight / Packaging / Product specifications.
- Ensure deviations are clearly documented and marked (e.g., red circle in images).
- Resolve deviations between actual product details and PI given to supplier & update the same in ERP.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Escalate major discrepancies to senior management.
- Prepare final quality reports highlighting quantity, packaging, and leftover goods issues.

Quality Control & Inspection Management:

- Monitor QC agency for conducting timely QC inspection - container stuffing process and ensure accurate documentation with photographs before and after container closing.




- Verify item-wise net weight, gross weight, and CBM (LBH of master cartons).
- Approve final inspection reports prior to door closure.

Team Management:

- Supervise and guide Quality Executives and inspection staff.
- Allocate responsibilities for inspection, reporting, and documentation tasks.
- Train team members on inspection standards, documentation, and ERP processes.
- Review daily reports submitted by the quality team.

Documentation & ERP Management:

- Ensure proper maintenance of inspection records, reports, and photographs.
- Verify daily container stuffing lists generated from ERP.
- Maintain organized records for audit and management review purposes.
- Ensure proper data accuracy between physical shipment and ERP system records.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.
- Monitor key quality indicators including: Shipment accuracy / Quantity deviations / Packaging compliance / Supplier performance.
- Recommend improvements to reduce operational errors and quality deviations.

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelors Degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline.
- English Knowledge is must and require efficient communication skill.
- Should be available by 24x7
- Minimum 5+ years in Quality Control, Shipment Inspection, or Export Operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and documentation control.
- Discretion in handling sensitive shipment data.
- Solid analytical and organizational skills.
