Role & responsibilities

Lead complete factory operations across production, fabrication, machining, assembly, testing and dispatch.

- Drive Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Productivity (SQCDP).

• Improve manufacturing efficiency through Lean, Kaizen, TPM and Six Sigma.
- Own production planning, capacity utilization and resource optimization.
- Lead supply chain, procurement, inventory and logistics.
- Ensure customer delivery commitments and operational excellence. • Drive cost reduction, profitability and productivity improvements.
- Develop leadership capability and employee engagement.
- Ensure statutory, EHS and quality compliance.
- Partner with Japanese leadership on strategic initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

20 to 25+ years of manufacturing experience.

- 810+ years leading plant/factory operations.
- Average employment stability of at least 5 years per organization.
- Background in capital industrial machinery, heavy fabrication, heavy engineering or engineered-to-order manufacturing.
- Mechanical/Production Engineering degree;

MBA preferred.
- Comfortable working from Kanchipuram plant. • Tamil language proficiency preferred.
