We’re Hiring: Product & Business Intern
We're looking for someone who wants to learn how businesses, customers and software come together.
At elSapiens, you won't be sitting on the sidelines watching projects happen.
You'll work directly with the Director and get involved in real customer problems, product decisions, software execution and business operations.
Sometimes the problem will be obvious.
Sometimes it will be something as small as a customer clicking on a table row and nothing happening.
Your job is to understand why that matters, what the user expected, what actually happened, how we should communicate it to the team, and whether we actually fixed the problem.
Because software that technically works and software that works for the person using it are not always the same thing.
What you will learn
At elSapiens, you'll be exposed to the complete journey from problem → solution → execution → outcome.
You may work on things like:
- Understanding customer and user feedback
- Identifying friction in products and workflows
- Turning user problems into clear requirements
- Working with developers and product teams to get things implemented
- Testing whether a solution actually solves the original problem
- Tracking features, bugs, support requests and improvements
- Preparing product and business documentation
- Following projects through development, testing and release
- Preparing updates for clients and internal stakeholders
- Identifying things that are getting stuck and making sure they move forward
- Exploring ways to make our products more intuitive and useful
You won't just learn how to manage a task.
You'll learn to ask
What problem are we actually solving?
Who is experiencing it?
What are they expecting to happen?
Why isn't the current experience working?
What is the simplest way to make it better?
And how do we know we actually solved it?
Why this matters today
With AI and vibe coding, building software is becoming easier.
But building software that people understand, trust and enjoy using is a different problem.
Anyone can generate a feature.
The valuable skill is knowing what should be built, why it should be built, what could go wrong, and what the user actually experiences when it is released.
That's the kind of thinking we want you to develop.
About elSapiens elSapiens helps businesses think, decide and execute better.
We don't approach our work as simply building software for a client.
We first try to understand the business, its customers, its processes and the problems getting in the way.
Then we identify opportunities, design practical solutions and use technology to execute them.
We are building a connected ecosystem of products around the way businesses actually operate.
Who should apply?
This role may be a good fit if you are someone who:
Notices things.
You see small problems that others overlook.
Is curious.
You don't stop at “it doesn't work.” You want to know why.
Thinks from the user's perspective.
You naturally ask, “If I were the customer, would I understand this?”
Likes solving messy problems.
You enjoy bringing structure to unclear situations.
Takes ownership.
If something is stuck, you don't assume someone else will handle it.
Wants to understand technology.
You don't have to be a developer, but you should want to understand how software is built and why technical decisions affect users.
You could be from Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Product, Operations, or a related background.
More important than your degree is how you think.
What makes this opportunity different?
You'll work closely with the Director rather than being one small piece of a large organisation.
You'll see conversations with customers.
You'll see problems before they become requirements.
You'll see requirements become software.
You'll see software go through testing and release.
And you'll see what happens when a real person starts using it.
That exposure is difficult to get from a classroom.
And it is even harder to get by simply watching projects from the outside.
If you want to learn how to think about customers, products, business problems and technology at the same time, this is an chance to do exactly that.
