- Operate the assigned sewing machine safely and efficiently.
- Stitch garment components according to the approved sample, operation bulletin, and specifications.
- Maintain required stitch quality, seam allowance, and garment measurements.
- Check fabric and garment pieces before starting the operation.
- Identify and report defects such as skip stitches, broken stitches, open seams, puckering, uneven stitching, and needle damage.
- Maintain the required production target and hourly output.
- Follow the correct sewing method and operation sequence.
- Carry out basic machine cleaning and inform the Sewing Team Leader/Maintenance Team about machine problems.
- Minimize fabric, thread, and other material wastage.




- Segregate defective pieces and send them for necessary correction or rework.
- Maintain positive housekeeping around the workstation.
- Follow all safety, PPE, quality, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with the Team Leader, Checker, and other operators to maintain smooth production flow.
- Handle garments and materials carefully to prevent damage and contamination.
- Attend required training and follow instructions provided by supervisors.
- Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
