Role & responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain customise UAVs across defence, agriculture, and infrastructure inspection verticals, managing structural design, composite fabrication, avionics integration, test flights, and operational handover; Conduct UAV flight performance analysis to identify aerodynamic inefficiencies and control response gaps, implementing hardware and software corrections to improve endurance, stability, and payload capacity; Ensure full DGCA UAS Rules 2021 regulatory compliance across all developed platforms, managing airworthiness documentation, certification procedures, and regulatory approvals throughout the product lifecycle. Able to develop and document standardised SOPs for UAV inspection operations, data capture protocols, and flight safety management systems deployed across all field project engagements. Engineer fixed-wing and multirotor UAV platforms from concept through certified production-ready systems, leading mechanical design, electronics integration, flight control configuration, and airworthiness validation.
