Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Sales Consultant role based in Trivandrum.
The Travel Sales
Consultant will advise clients on travel options, create customized itineraries, and manage end-to-end travel arrangements including transportation, accommodation, and related services.
Responsibilities include handling reservations, providing accurate travel information, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting suitable travel packages and services. The consultant will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless travel experiences and meet sales targets.
Qualifications
- Robust skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to guide clients and coordinate comprehensive travel plans.
- Proficiency in arranging Travel Arrangements and handling Reservations across various platforms and providers.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle queries, and manage client expectations.
- Knowledge of travel industry trends, destinations, and basic fare rules is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work with booking and reservation software; familiarity with GDS or similar systems is a plus.
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple client requests effectively.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in travel, tourism, business, or a related field is advantageous.
