A. Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Technical Support: Provide analytical and technical inputs to shape Haryanas sector-specific clean air roadmap
- Project Oversight: Oversee project management in the respective domain and coordinate with line departments and implementing agencies to support design, execution, and monitoring of project actionables, including onboarding key consultancies wherever necessary
- Monitoring and Results Verification: Build a strong evidence base for decision-making by compiling sectoral data, supporting impact assessments, and identifying key intervention points
- Inter-Departmental Coordination: Liaise with departmental nodal officers, research institutions, and other partners to promote convergence and address implementation bottlenecks
- Support Audit Processes: Coordinate with and support the Environment Specialist in conducting safety audits of the interventions in the respective domain
- Knowledge Creation: Contribute to building sectoral knowledge bank through case studies, dashboards, and documentation of best practices, and support the Knowledge Associate in publishing sectoral knowledge in print and social media.

C. Qualification Criteria: Masters degree in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning or Logistics Management from a recognised University or Qualified Institution recognised by Government. D. Experience Criteria: Minimum 7 years experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in transport planning, urban mobility, logistics or traffic engineering. Experience in vehicular emissions modelling, EV policy or public transport systems is preferred; technical expertise in transportation systems and policies; knowledge of government transport regulations and urban-mobility schemes.

Prior experience in the transport vertical of multilaterally financed projects will be given preference.
