Job Summary

We seek a Trainee Social Media Manager to help develop and manage content on platforms. A basic understanding of social media trends, content development, and communication skills is desired. Apply today!

Responsibilities

- Help plan, design, and schedule social media content on the various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

- Assist in day-to-day posting and engagement (likes, comments, messages)

- Help keep an eye on social media trends, hashtags, and platform updates

- Work with the design and marketing team to design visually effective posts

- Help monitor performance metrics (likes, shares, reach, etc.) and prepare easy reports

- Help run social media campaigns and promotions

- Help keep a consistent brand voice and aesthetic

- Carry out competitor research and audience study

- Learn to make use of applications such as Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite

- Attend brainstorming and content strategy sessions

Qualifications





- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field (completed or in progress)

- Basic knowledge about social media platforms and their operations

- Creativity and passion for digital trends and content development

- Hands-on experience with tools such as Canva, Instagram Reels, and scheduling tools (desired)

- Good writing and communication abilities

- Team-working skills

- Will to learn social media marketing techniques and analytics

- Maintaining any personal blog or social media page is an added advantage
