Role Responsibilities The primary responsibilities for the roles within the Prime Equity Finance - Funding Desk would include:

- Responsible for the day-to-day activities of Prime Equity Finance - Funding Desk supporting General / EMEA shift.
- Manage and monitor securities lending, repos and other equity financing transactions to optimize funding strategies and liquidity.
- Help manage Financial Resource and Firms Inventory Management investigate trouble shoot issues and escalate when necessary.
- Co-ordinate with the Asia/ EMEA/ US Equity financing desk on analysis related to Markets conditions, identify opportunities to optimize financing terms and recommend strategies for margin financing liquidity management etc.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth Transaction process.
- Build MIS to provide daily funding requirements, outstanding borrowing, liquidity positions, margin utilization and counterparty risk exposure.
- Support business development efforts by identifying and evaluating potential opportunities for the desk.
- Help drive Prime level programs on automation,



digitization and act as a subject matter expert representing Prime on these forums

Qualifications

Experience 2 - 10 years Qualification Post Graduate Degree/ MBA, CFA or equivalent finance major or similar

Skills Competencies

- Good knowledge of Equities, Equity Derivatives, Convertible Bonds, Fixed Income, Repo, and Futures and Options.
- Very comfortable with the uses of Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for data wrangling.
- Proven track record in automating manual tasks / excels reports.
- Proficiency in MS Excel at expert level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid logical, analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Strong team player, a quick learner and willing to put extra effort to build client / stakeholder relations and garner business knowledge.
- Self-starter and ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines.
