Job Title: Assistant Manager - [Production / Printing / Packing & Dispatch]

Location: Pollachi

Salary: ₹40,000 - ₹50,000 per month

n

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Assistant Manager to manage the daily operations of a department within our factory. The selected candidate will work under the Factory Manager and will be accountable for department performance, team coordination, quality, productivity, discipline, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Manage day-to-day operations of the assigned department.
n
- Supervise workers, operators, and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
n
- Plan and monitor daily production, printing, packing, or dispatch activities as applicable.
n
- Ensure work is completed as per quality standards, timelines, and company procedures.
n
- Maintain team discipline, attendance, work allocation, and shift coordination.
n
- Identify operational issues and report them to the Factory Manager with solutions.
n
- Coordinate with other departments to avoid delays and improve efficiency.
n
- Monitor material usage, wastage, machine output, and productivity.
n
- Maintain daily reports, production records,



dispatch records, or department MIS.
n
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper housekeeping in the department.
n
- Train and guide team members to improve performance and accountability.
n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

n

n
- Prior experience in factory, production, printing, packing, dispatch, or manufacturing operations.
n
- Ability to handle workers and manage shop-floor responsibilities.
n
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Basic knowledge of reporting, planning, and productivity tracking.
n
- Responsible, disciplined, and target-oriented work approach.
n
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple teams.
n

Preferred Experience:

n

n
- 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
n
- Previous experience as Supervisor, Senior Supervisor, Team Leader, Department In-Charge, or Assistant Manager will be preferred.
n
