About the Role

Texas Review is looking for a Test Prep Counsellor to counsel students and parents regarding overseas education and test-preparation programs.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a student-focused approach, and the ability to convert enquiries into enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding study-abroad and test-preparation options.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals and study-abroad plans.
- Guide students regarding IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, SAT and OET.
- Recommend suitable test-preparation programs based on student requirements.
- Handle inbound enquiries and conduct regular follow-ups.
- Convert qualified enquiries into course enrolments.
- Achieve monthly counselling, conversion and revenue targets.
- Research relevant courses, programs and universities based on student profiles.
- Coordinate with the admissions and counselling teams for smooth student support.
- Maintain accurate student and follow-up information in the CRM.
- Provide excellent student support throughout the enrolment journey.

Required Skills





- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
- Good understanding of IELTS / PTE / GRE / GMAT / TOEFL / SAT / OET or willingness to learn.
- Robust follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Target-oriented and comfortable with sales responsibilities.
- Good customer-handling and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 02 years of experience in education counselling, study-abroad counselling, test-prep counselling, inside sales or a related role.
- Candidates with experience in IELTS/PTE/GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/SAT/OET counselling will be preferred.
- Prior experience with overseas education / EdTech / test-preparation institutes is an added advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication and a strong interest in education counselling may also apply.

Important This is a counselling + sales-oriented role. Candidates should be comfortable handling student enquiries, conducting follow-ups and working towards monthly conversion and revenue targets.

Salary: As per company standards + attractive performance-based incentives.
