Position :Test Engineer .NET MAUI Windows App & REST API

Location : Bangalore

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for testing .NET MAUI Windows/desktop applications and REST APIs, ensuring high-quality software delivery through functional, automation, and API testing. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Development and execution of test plans, validation of application functionality, API testing, defect tracking, and ensuring adherence to quality standards are key aspects of this role.

Will be an individual contributor working with cross-functional teams such as developers, product owners, and QA members.

Key requirements:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET MAUI Windows applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

Validate and test RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.

Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks.

Perform UI testing for Windows desktop applications built on .NET MAUI.

Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.

Collaborate with developers, product owners,



and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.

Ensure adherence to quality standards, best testing practices, and Agile methodologies.

Conduct performance and load testing for APIs (good to have).

Skills Required:

Bachelors degree in computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent.

34+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).

Hands-on experience in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.

Experience in testing .NET MAUI or Windows desktop applications.

Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium / Playwright / Appium.

Knowledge of C# or similar programming language for automation scripting.

Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.

Experience using defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.

Exposure to mobile or cross-platform application testing.

Basic understanding of database testing and SQL queries.

Experience in performance and load testing for APIs.
