Role Description The Test Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Atatus products. In this role, the Test Engineer will design, develop, and maintain test cases and test plans across various product components and features. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing functional tests, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with developers and product teams to clarify requirements, and verifying fixes.

The Test





Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, participate in regression and integration testing, and help maintain test documentation and reporting. This role involves close collaboration within cross-functional engineering teams to support fast, high-quality releases.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing, with experience in software quality assurance practices.
- Ability to design, document, and manage Test Cases, including test planning and coverage analysis.
- Hands-on experience in Test Execution and Functional Testing for web-based or SaaS products.
- Familiarity with test management tools, bug tracking systems, and basic SQL or log analysis for troubleshooting.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks and scripting languages is a plus.
