Job Summary

n

We are looking for a Cost Accountant & MIS Executive with 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing company. The role involves product costing, MIS reporting, inventory analysis, budgeting, and cost monitoring to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare product-wise and process-wise costing.
n
- Calculate material, labour, overhead, and manufacturing costs.
n
- Analyse standard cost vs. actual cost and identify variances.
n
- Monitor production costs and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
n
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
n
- Create reports on sales, profitability, inventory, production, purchases, and budgets.
n
- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
n
- Analyse material consumption, BOM, wastage, and production variances.
n
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis.
n




- Prepare Excel dashboards and maintain accurate reports.
n
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Sales, and Accounts teams.

Skills Required

n

n
- Valuable knowledge of Cost Accounting and manufacturing costing.
n
- Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dashboards).
n
- Knowledge of ERP or accounting software.
n
- Understanding of inventory, BOM, production, and purchase processes.
n
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
n

Qualification

n

n
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter.
n
- Candidates with a Cost & Management Accounting background will be preferred.
n

n

Preferred Experience

n

n
- 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing company.
n
- Experience in engineering, HVAC, fabrication, sheet metal, or similar industries is preferred.
n
- Experience in product costing and MIS reporting will be an added advantage.
n
