Senior Sterling Support Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide L2/L3 production support for IBM Sterling OMS applications.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents related to order management and fulfillment.

- Support order fulfillment, sourcing, inventory management, and order lifecycle processes.

- Troubleshoot Sterling OMS APIs, Agents, and Business Rules.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential production issues.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve complex issues.

- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem management activities within defined SLAs.

- Support deployments, releases, and production changes while ensuring application stability.

- Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS / Order Management System.





- Experience in Production Support and Incident Management.

- Strong understanding of Order Fulfillment, Sourcing, and Inventory Management.

- Experience troubleshooting Sterling OMS APIs, Agents, and Business Rules.

- Understanding of order lifecycle, inventory availability, sourcing, and fulfillment processes.

- Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working with ITIL/SLA-driven support environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Sterling OMS application support or related enterprise systems.

- Hands-on experience supporting production Sterling OMS environments.

- Experience working in L2/L3 support and Agile/ITIL environments.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
