Role Description The Tele-counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Tele-counselor will engage with prospective learners and organizational clients via phone, email, and digital channels to provide information about GAFA’s programs, certifications, and services. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, explaining course structures and benefits, guiding applicants through enrollment processes, and maintaining accurate records of interactions in CRM or similar systems.

The role also involves following up on leads, supporting outreach campaigns,



and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a positive and qualified experience for all contacts. The Tele-counselor is expected to meet assigned targets while upholding GAFA’s standards of integrity, confidentiality, and client-focused communication.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English and confident phone handling abilities.
- Customer service and counseling aptitude, with the ability to listen actively, understand needs, and provide accurate guidance on programs and services.
- Basic sales and outreach skills, including lead follow-up, relationship-building, and the ability to meet call and conversion targets.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and CRM or contact management systems, with accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle high call volumes, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple inquiries efficiently.
- Interest in or familiarity with education, training, or professional certification domains; exposure to finance or compliance fields is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; prior experience in tele-counseling, call centers, or student advisory roles is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, maintain confidentiality, and represent GAFA professionally in all interactions.
