Steel Detailer

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.

- Create accurate fabrication and erection drawings from Tekla models.

- Develop GA drawings, assembly drawings, single-part drawings, and material lists.

- Read and understand structural and architectural drawings.

- Ensure detailing is carried out according to AISC standards and project requirements.

- Check dimensions, connections, member sizes, and other detailing information for accuracy.

- Coordinate with engineers, checkers, modelers, and project teams to resolve detailing issues.

- Make revisions and incorporate comments as required.

- Ensure drawings and models are completed within project schedules.

Required Skills





- 2-5 years of experience in Structural Steel Detailing.

- Strong working knowledge of Tekla Structures.

- Good knowledge of AISC standards.

- Valuable understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

- Good attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred

- Experience working on US-based structural steel projects.

- Knowledge of steel connections and fabrication practices.

- Immediate joiners are preferred.
