: Technician – Mechanical Maintenance

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment in a facility. The role involves maintaining operational efficiency, managing equipment, ensuring safety compliance, optimizing costs, coordinating with stakeholders, and contributing to team development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operational Efficiency

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of mechanical systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Conduct performance tests on equipment to detect inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports to track system performance and service history.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mechanical system efficiency.

2. Equipment Management

- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure proper lubrication, alignment,



and calibration of mechanical components.
- Assist in the procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables required for mechanical maintenance.
- Maintain an updated inventory of mechanical spare parts and tools to avoid operational delays.
- Support the implementation of predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis and thermal imaging.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Diploma or certification in ITI, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
