- Review prospective student applications for University admission N
- Research and verify theaccuracy of application information N
- Follow up with studentsto verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing information N
- Contact applicant references to verify information included on resumes, letters of recommendation, and applications N
- Create profiles for each applicant and work collaboratively with other counsellors to review and make final approvals N
- Coordinate applicant approval process with various educational departments as needed N
- Meet with and interviewprospective students before final application decisions N




- Create and maintain recruitment guidelines and goals to use for future recruitment efforts N

n n Qualifications for Admissions Counsellor

- A Bachelor's degree in any related field N
- Functional knowledge ofMicrosoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint N
- Proven experience working with and speaking to young adults N
- Willingness to travel and present information for recruitment purposes N
- Ability to work extended hours during critical admissions seasons N
- Robust communication skills with the ability to deliver information effectively and persuasively N
- Highly organized with adistinct propensity for timeliness and professionalism N
