Reports to: Chief Technology Officer and Chief Executive Officer

Remote Full-Time

Briqbi has been retained to support a US-based consulting and technology firm in the recruitment of a Technical Lead to build and architect solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is designed for a hands-on technical leader who will own delivery across the Power Platform, Dataverse, and AI implementation, while shaping the solution architecture that supports it.

The Technical Lead serves as the primary engineering and architecture owner for Microsoft ecosystem initiatives. The role is approximately 70 percent hands-on build, working directly in Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Copilot, and 30 percent solution architecture, technical governance, and roadmap definition. It blends deep technical execution with the judgment to design systems that scale.

This is a high-impact, fully remote role reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Executive Officer. It offers ownership of complex Microsoft and AI implementations, direct influence over technical direction, and the opportunity to lead coordination across a distributed delivery team.

About the Company The company is a US-based consulting and technology partner to large organizations, helping them design, build, and operationalize solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. It pairs deep Power Platform and Azure engineering with applied AI to deliver intelligence layers, workflow automation, and data-driven systems that improve how its clients operate.

Engagements span Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, Dataverse, and Copilot, alongside modern AI architecture. This role sits at the center of how the firm delivers for its clients, offering direct exposure to enterprise-scale environments and the systems that run them.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Ecosystem Engineering & Delivery

- Build production solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), Power Automate cloud flows, and Microsoft Copilot Studio agents.
- Design and implement each Dataverse component, including tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and the user-facing interfaces built on top of them.
- Develop workflow automation and enterprise integrations across Microsoft 365 and connected systems, including Logic Apps and custom connectors where needed.
- Deliver every workflow and system with accompanying documentation, standard operating procedures,

and training guides so clients can operate and extend what is built.

Solution Architecture & Dataverse Design

- Define the technology vision, roadmap, and solution architecture for Microsoft ecosystem engagements, balancing hands-on delivery with longer-term design decisions.
- Establish Dataverse as the coordination and data layer, applying sound data modeling, environment strategy, and application lifecycle management across solutions.
- Apply low-code and no-code governance and engineering standards, reviewing technical decisions, resolving blockers, and guiding the build toward scalable patterns.

AI & Intelligent Systems Implementation

- Implement applied AI capabilities, including generative AI and large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, and tool calling integrated with Microsoft Copilot.
- Apply the Model Context Protocol, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks to build reliable, measurable AI features rather than one-off prototypes.
- Inform build-versus-buy decisions and uphold AI governance, security, and compliance so that intelligent systems are deployed responsibly within client environments.

Security, Data Engineering & Reliability

- Build secure-by-design solutions, applying authentication, authorization, and identity and access management through Microsoft Entra and related controls.
- Protect data through encryption, sound access design, and adherence to applicable compliance and risk-management requirements within client environments.
- Design data architecture and ETL and ELT pipelines that feed reporting, with attention to data governance, quality, and downstream analytics.
- Build business intelligence and reporting in Power BI, defining KPI and metrics strategy that ties each solution to a clear operational outcome.

Coordination, Governance & Continuous Improvement

- Lead coordination across distributed team members where needed, aligning parallel workstreams without direct reporting authority.
- Engage clients and stakeholders to understand business goals, gather requirements, and translate them into working solutions and architecture.
- Evaluate recent technologies,

drive modernization, and continuously improve delivery processes, developer productivity, and engineering quality.

Key Attributes/Experience

- Minimum 8 years of technology experience, with a track record of end-to-end, hands-on delivery of enterprise solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Deep, demonstrable execution across the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, including building and configuring each Dataverse component. This is a core requirement of the role.
- Practical experience implementing AI and intelligent systems, including generative AI and large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents and tool calling, the Model Context Protocol, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
- Working command of security, data engineering, and reliability within the Microsoft and Azure ecosystem, including identity and access management, data protection, ETL and ELT pipelines, business intelligence, and observability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage credibly with executive stakeholders and senior technical counterparts, lead coordination without direct authority, and produce clear documentation, SOPs, and training guides.

Preferred Technical Experience

- Microsoft certifications, with PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect) preferred, and PL-400, PL-200, or AI-102 a plus.
- Experience delivering technology for large enterprise organizations; familiarity with real estate or property management platforms such as Yardi is a plus.
- Azure adjacencies and delivery tooling, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Microsoft Graph API, Key Vault, and Jira with Agile delivery management.

Additional Requirements

- US-based, with substantial overlap with US business hours and a reliable remote working environment.
- Self-directed and accountable, able to own workstreams independently and coordinate distributed team members where the work requires it.
- Professional, client-ready communication and sound discretion when working within confidential client environments.

Benefits & Highlights

- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
- Fully remote role with a flexible, outcome-focused working style.
- Direct collaboration with the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Executive Officer on high-impact client initiatives.
- Exposure to enterprise Microsoft and AI architecture delivered for large US-based organizations.
