Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect to lead the architecture, design, and technical strategy for enterprise-grade products within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET Core, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and enterprise integrations, with a proven ability to build secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions for mission-critical financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and own the product architecture and long-term technology roadmap.

- Design secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise applications for the BFSI domain.

- Lead architecture for distributed systems and microservices-based platforms.

- Drive technology selection, architecture governance, and engineering standards.

- Conduct architecture and design reviews across multiple product teams.

- Plan for system scalability, performance, security, and high availability.

- Develop cross-product platform strategies to promote reuse and consistency.

- Mentor engineering teams on architecture best practices and modern design patterns.

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business, and Infrastructure teams to deliver robust technical solutions.

- Enable AI/ML solution integration to enhance business capabilities and customer experiences.

- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, regulatory, and governance standards relevant to BFSI.

- Strong understanding of secure application architecture, regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial transaction processing

- Experience integrating with payment gateways, core banking systems, or financial service platforms is highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years in an Architecture role.

- Experience designing enterprise-scale SaaS or digital banking platforms.

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.

- Solid stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
