Job title: Tech Program Lead

Grade Location: Mumbai

BU/Function: Information Technology The Senior Technology Program Manager is responsible for driving medium to large-scale, cross-functional technology programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory expectations, and enterprise architecture standards.

The role acts as a bridge between business leadership (EXCO) and engineering teams (Internal and external project stakeholders including tech partners), enabling seamless execution, risk mitigation, and timely delivery of complex technology initiatives

Overall

1. Program Delivery & Execution

- Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology programs from initiation to production rollout.
- Drive planning, estimation, execution, and governance across multiple projects.
- Ensure delivery within timelines, budget, and quality benchmarks.
- Establish and track KPIs, milestones, and program health metrics.

1. Stakeholder & Governance Management

- Engage with senior stakeholders, including EXCO and business heads, to align priorities and provide visibility on program status.
- Lead governance forums, steering committees, and executive reviews.
- Drive structured reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies.

1. Technology Leadership & Strategy

- Contribute to technology roadmap and strategic initiatives aligned to enterprise goals.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
- Guide adoption of modern engineering practices (API-led, cloud, DevSecOps).

1. Risk & Issue Management

- Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
- Define mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution.
- Escalate critical risks with explicit impact and resolution path.

1. Delivery Excellence & Process Improvement





- Drive adoption of Agile / Hybrid delivery models and best practices.
- Continuously enhance delivery frameworks, tools, and processes.
- Ensure effective SDLC governance, testing, and release management disciplines.

1. Financial & Resource Management

- Oversee program budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization.
- Align resource planning with program needs across internal teams and vendors.
- Track and report financial performance and variances.

1. Team Leadership & Capability Building

- Lead and mentor program managers, project managers, and engineering leads.
- Drive a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
- Enable capability building across Agile, DevOps, and program governance.

Essential Skills

- 10+ years in leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading Programs across CX, UI/ UX, Digital LOS/ LMS, On-boarding, Payments functions.

Program & Delivery
- Strong program management expertise (PMP / Agile certifications preferred)
- Experience managing organization-wide, multi-stream programs

Technology
- Working knowledge of:
- APIs & Microservices
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- DevSecOps / CI-CD pipelines
- Non-Functional Requirements and Capacity Sizing

- High Level Architecture

Governance & Risk
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and audit requirements
- Risk management and issue resolution capabilities

- Ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Continuously improve program execution frameworks

Nice-to-Have
- Experience in large-scale transformation programs (API, digital, payments)
- Exposure to tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow
- Experience handling regulators / audit interactions

Education and Work Experience Requirements: EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION

Essential requirement: B.E/ MBA or Equivalent IT/ Masters qualifications

Preferred Certifications: PMP, Prince 2, Agile

WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential requirement: 14 to 18 yrs

Preferred:

Any specific requirements

- Preferably from Banking / BFSI Space
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and handle multiple stakeholders
