Raksul is Looking for:**** About The Role RAKSUL Group is establishing a new, group-wide Cloud Infrastructure organization to support our rapidly growing B2B platforms across multiple products, countries, and engineering teams.

As a Tech Lead - Infrastructure, you will build the foundation of our cloud infrastructure for the next 10+ years. You''''ll strategically rebuild and evolve existing systems while partnering closely with the Director of Infrastructure, and other technical leaders.

Your mission is to design and evolve cloud infrastructure that scales both technically and organizationally—enabling hundreds of engineers to move fast without compromising reliability, security, or cost discipline.

This is a high-impact IC role , not a people management position.

Background

- Our core revenue platforms run on AWS, with a mix of legacy EC2-based systems and newer containerized services
- We are expanding through new business launches, M&A;, and global teams
- Infrastructure decisions made today must remain valid as:
- Engineering organization grows from ~200 to ~400+ engineers
- Teams become increasingly global and autonomous
- Platform complexity continues to increase

This role exists to ensure that good infrastructure decisions are repeatable,not dependent on heroics. What You Will Do Design Infrastructure at Group Scale

- Design and evolve AWS account, network, and ownership models across multiple products
- Define clear boundaries between:
- Shared (group-wide)



infrastructure
- Product-owned infrastructure
- Balance governance and autonomy to avoid both chaos and bottlenecks

Lead Infrastructure as Code Practices

- Define Terraform structures, module boundaries, and conventions used across teams
- Decide what should be standardized vs intentionally flexible
- Review and guide infrastructure changes with a focus on safety and long-term maintainability

Drive Legacy Modernization Thoughtfully

- Lead technical decision-making for incremental modernization of legacy EC2-based systems
- Avoid risky “big bang” migrations by defining realistic, staged evolution paths
- Make explicit decisions on what not to modernize yet, and why

Improve Reliability, Security, and Cost Discipline

- Provide technical leadership on:
- Availability and failure-mode thinking
- Security baselines appropriate for a listed company
- AWS cost visibility and optimization strategies
- Partner with SRE and security teams without duplicating responsibilities

Act as a Technical Leader

- Resolve cross-team infrastructure challenges and technical disagreements
- Mentor senior engineers through design reviews and technical discussions
- Step into ambiguous or high-friction situations where alignment is needed

Required What We’re Looking For

- 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
- Deep understanding of Terraform, including module design and state management
- Experience operating or evolving business-critical systems




- Ability to reason clearly about trade-offs across speed, reliability, security, and cost
- Experience working across multiple teams or products
- Professional-level English communication skills

Nice to Have

- Experience designing infrastructure for large or fast-growing engineering organizations
- Exposure to M&A-driven; or heterogeneous infrastructure environments
- Experience with FinOps or large-scale cost optimization
- Background in SRE or internal platform engineering
- Experience collaborating with global engineering teams
