Job Summary

Team Lead - Reference Data Technology

Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing hands-on technical guidance, mentorship, and architectural direction

- Support the Reference Data and Corporate Action Operations teams in a high-pressure environment where timeliness and data quality are critical

- Design, build, and enhance full-stack solutions using Java and Angular to improve reference data workflows and platform capabilities

- Partner with operations users and other stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize work, and translate requirements into effective technical solutions

- Work with data vendors and data mastering platforms to support the timely and accurate delivery of high-quality data

- Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to improve data accuracy, integrity, and reliability

- Drive process and platform improvements that strengthen operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention

- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in reference data, corporate actions,



and data quality management

Requirements

- Proven experience supporting operations teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure workplace

- Strong architecture and design expertise, with deep hands-on experience in full-stack development using Java and Angular

- Strong SQL skills and the ability to work effectively with complex data sets

- Experience leading development teams and delivering technical direction across projects and priorities

- Solid understanding of reference data and/or corporate action systems and their importance to business operations

- Experience analyzing data quality issues and applying practical techniques to improve accuracy, consistency, and control

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with operations users and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Education Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
