Must-Have-

Proven experience with Redis and Spanner

Valuable-to-Have-

SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Postgres and MYSQL

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role-

1 Administer and maintain databases including Redis and Spanner

2 Architect multi-region active-active replication setups, Redis Cluster topologies, and integration with stream-processing

3 Support and optimize distributed databases, particularly Google Spanner

4 Implement and maintain cloud-based database solutions on GCP or other cloud platforms

5 Diagnose latency spikes, CPU/memory bloat, Out-Of-Memory (OOM) crashes,



and optimize command pipelining and single-threaded event-loop operations

6 Perform complex debugging for data persistence failures (RDB/AOF), connection drops, and distributed lock synchronization Issues

7 Ensure database security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place and effective

8 Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner

9 Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application performance and scalability

10 Support Migration activities from DB Platform
