Network SD-WAN Engineer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 6-10 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage SD-WAN solutions across enterprise environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP).
- Implement and support SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, Cisco Meraki, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet, or Silver Peak.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of WAN and LAN infrastructure.
- Work with security teams to implement network security policies, VPNs, and firewall integrations.
- Perform network troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.




- Prepare technical documentation and follow operational best practices.

Required Skills

- Solid experience in SD-WAN technologies.
- Good knowledge of Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience with WAN, LAN, VPN, MPLS, and Internet-based connectivity.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of network security concepts and firewall technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
