- Strong handson experience with Databricks administration
- Strong knowledge and hands-on on PySpark

- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- AWS knowledge (S3 bucket)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1. Manage catalogues & schemas: Create, alter, and delete catalogues and schemas; set ownership and default properties across the meta store.

1. Access control & governance: Define and manage permissions (GRANT/REVOKE) on catalogues, schemas, tables, views, volumes, and functions

1. Data security enforcement: Implement finegrained security using privileges, row filters, column masking, and tagbased (ABAC) policies.

Metadata & data governance: Oversee table definitions, lineage, tags, classifications, and ensure compliance with governance standards.

1. Administrative operations: Troubleshoot access issues, manage object ownership transfers, and support platform standards and best practices.

1. Cross*environment data copy: Move data securely fromProd to Non*Produsing approved, automated pipelines.

1. Data masking: Mask or anonymize sensitive fields (PII/PHI/PCI) during or before data copy.

1. Deployments: Carryout deployments using CI/CD across various environments

1. Data upload: Upload data to DataBricks as well as migrate data from other Databases to it
