We are looking for an experienced Windows Systems Engineer to support and manage enterprise Microsoft infrastructure for US-based clients. The role requires working in EST (USA) business hours and involves administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure/hybrid environments, and system automation.
Core Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments
- Manage Active Directory (AD DS), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP
- Support Azure and hybrid infrastructure (Azure VMs, Azure AD / Entra ID)
- Manage our Citrix images and updates to the Citrix stack
- Perform server and network patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and system hardening using tools like Shavlik and PDQ
- Administer and support SAN technologies.
- Implement and manage security controls, including MFA, Conditional Access, and Defender
- Maintain and support the VMware ESXi virtual environment.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Monitor system availability and resolve incidents (L3 support)
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager and serve as a primary point of contact for resolving infrastructure and user-facing issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Resolve daily issues effectively and create documentation when new issues arise
- Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Windows Systems Engineer / Administrator and Citrix
- Strong experience in enterprise Windows environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- Good understanding of backup technologies (Veeam)
- EDR and endpoint management
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, work ethic, sense of ownership, diligence, systematic and committed team player.
- Strong documentation and process management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote, US-shift workplace

Preferred Skills
- Basic Linux administration experience
- Financial Services or Hedge Fund experience preferred
