Role Description The Sweater and Knit Technician is a full-time, in office role based in Gurgaon. This role involves developing and interpreting sweater and knitwear technical specifications, including measurements, construction details, and finishing requirements. The technician will collaborate closely with design, product development, and production teams to translate creative concepts into technically feasible knit garments.

Daily responsibilities include creating and updating tech packs, conducting sample fittings, ensuring knitting machine settings are optimized, and troubleshooting technical issues during sampling and bulk production.



The role also includes monitoring quality standards for yarns, stitches, and garment construction, supporting process improvements, and contributing to sustainable and efficient production practices in line with Maveneco’s values.

Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of sweaters and knitwear, including yarns, gauges, stitches, and garment construction.
- Experience with knitting machines, knitting processes, and production workflows in a factory or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to create, read, and update detailed tech packs, measurement charts, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures for knitwear, including fit assessments and garment durability checks.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with design, product development, sourcing, and production teams.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on the production floor.
- Understanding of sustainable manufacturing practices and an interest in responsible fashion and traceable supply chains.
- Relevant diploma or degree in textiles, knitting technology, fashion technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon and manage multiple styles and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
