Job Title: Surface Grinder / Surface Grinding Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Surface Grinder to operate and maintain surface grinding machines to achieve precise dimensions, flatness, surface finish, and tolerances as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate surface grinding machines safely and efficiently.
- Set up grinding machines, workpieces, grinding wheels, and fixtures according to job requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and dimensional specifications.
- Perform grinding operations to achieve required dimensions, flatness, parallelism, and surface finish.
- Select appropriate grinding wheels, speeds, feeds, and dressing parameters.
- Measure components using micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, dial gauges, and other precision instruments.
- Perform grinding wheel dressing and machine adjustments as required.
- Inspect finished components and ensure they meet specified quality standards and tolerances.
- Identify and correct dimensional or surface-finish issues during the grinding process.
- Maintain machines, tools, and work areas in clean and safe operating condition.




- Follow company safety procedures and quality control requirements.
- Record production and inspection details as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Relevant experience in surface grinding or precision machining.
- Good knowledge of surface grinding machine operations and setup.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of grinding wheels, wheel dressing, cutting parameters, and surface finishes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.

Experience 5 years of experience in surface grinding, precision grinding, or similar machining operations preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
