Job Title: Operations Specialist

Location: One Lodha Place, Lower Parel

Time: Monday to Friday and 1st, 4th and 5th Saturday working. 8.30am to 5.30pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Operations Specialist with 3+ years of demonstrated expertise in freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end shipment coordination, process optimization,

documentation compliance, and stakeholder communication to ensure smooth and timely operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage air and sea freight operations, including booking, scheduling, and end-to- end shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with agents, carriers, and customers to gather shipment details and ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Negotiate rates with vendors and prepare customer quotations using various platforms
- Prepare and verify critical documentation in compliance with international trade laws.
- Handle hazardous goods documentation and shipping
- Audit operational costs and collaborate with finance teams for accurate invoices.




- Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide real-time shipment status updates to clients, managing expectations and resolving any operational issues.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in any stream or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, and operations.
- Proficiency in freight forwarding systems
- Strong understanding of international logistics compliance
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure.
