Role & responsibilities

- Team Management: Assigns tasks, monitors workflow, and guides operators or crew members during the shift.
- Performance & Goals: Ensures production, service, or sales targets are met on time.
- Training & Support: Onboards recent hires, offers coaching, and resolves team conflicts.
- Administrative Duties: Handles scheduling, attendance tracking, and reporting shift metrics to upper management.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforces workplace safety rules, company policies, and quality standards.
- Machine Setup: Prepares, adjusts, and calibrates machinery and tooling for specific product runs or job changeovers. [1]
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identifies mechanical or technical issues early and implements corrective measures to maintain stable production. [1]
- Quality Control:



Tests initial output pieces to verify they meet strict technical specifications and tolerances before full production resumes.
- Process Improvement: Collaborates with the Technical Shift Supervisor / Setter or management to improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Maintenance Support: Performs routine equipment checks, basic servicing, and reports major maintenance needs

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Diploma Mechanical Engineering/ ITI/ BE Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Key Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making under pressure, basic data analysis, and conflict resolution.
