Position: Tekla Steel Modeler – Mid-Level to Senior Level

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tekla Steel Modeler with solid hands-on experience in Tekla Structures and knowledge of AISC Standards. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D structural steel models based on engineering and design drawings for US-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
- Model structural steel members, connections, stairs, platforms, and miscellaneous steel.
- Apply AISC Standards and project-specific detailing requirements.
- Create accurate and constructible models for fabrication and erection.
- Coordinate with Detailers, Checkers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
- Review models for accuracy, clashes, and completeness.
- Incorporate design changes and revisions into the Tekla model.
- Generate drawings, reports, and material lists as required.




- Resolve modeling issues and technical queries during project execution.
- Ensure models are completed within project schedules and quality standards.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures.
- Good knowledge of AISC Standards.
- Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication.
- Good knowledge of steel connections, bolts, welds, and structural members.
- Ability to understand and interpret structural drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication and erection requirements.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.

Experience
- Mid-Level: 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Senior-Level: 5–8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on US structural steel projects will be an advantage.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred: Immediate joiners. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
