Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Automation Procurement Lead to manage procurement operations for automation projects and equipment. The role requires expertise in overseas sourcing, procurement operations, supplier management, tax regulations, and strategic partnership development. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective procurement, contract compliance, and long-term supplier relationships to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead procurement activities for automation-related projects, equipment, and services.
- Manage end-to-end procurement operations including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, purchase order management, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Handle procurement of materials and equipment from overseas suppliers, ensuring compliance with import regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
- Review, negotiate, and execute supplier agreements and contracts to ensure favorable commercial terms.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to improve quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, customs duties, GST, import/export documentation, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities,



and emerging technologies to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis activities related to procurement operations.
