Key Responsibilities and Roles
- Table Management: Setting up tables with linen, condiments, and cutlery; clearing and cleaning tables after guests leave.
- Sanitation & Cleaning: Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment, often using industrial dishwashers.
- Guest Service: Greeting guests, seating them, offering menus, and serving water or beverages.
- Stock Management: Ensuring serving stations are fully stocked with napkins, condiments, and utensils.
- Operations Support: Assisting chefs or waiters, transporting dirty linen, and ensuring floors are dry.
