Role & responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols.

- Monitor and record patients vital signs and clinical condition.

- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.

- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.

- Maintain accurate and timely nursing records and patient documentation.

- Monitor patients before and after procedures/surgeries and report any changes promptly.

- Ensure proper infection-control practices and maintain hygiene standards.

- Handle and maintain nursing equipment and ensure availability of essential supplies.

- Provide proper handover to the incoming shift staff.

- Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, treatment, diet, hygiene, and discharge instructions.

- Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, patient-safety standards, and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.





- Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in emergency management.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and skilled standards of nursing practice.

- Support quality improvement and patient-satisfaction initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience as a Staff Nurse in a hospital, medical college, or multispecialty hospital will be preferred.

- Freshers with relevant qualification and valid registration may also be considered.

- Good clinical and patient-care skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in shifts, including night shifts.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle emergency situations.

- Compassionate, disciplined, responsible, and patient-oriented approach.

- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hospital information systems will be an advantage.
